Food contains those same molecules that become excited as the radio waves strike them. This excitement turns into heat, which cooks your food. Microwave Hood Combinations Microwave hood combinations free up counter space while providing ventilation for electric/gas ranges or built-in cooktops. They can be installed as either vented or non-vented.
